Fantasy Hockey
ESPN Fantasy Projection: If you've seen one McDavid season, you've seen them all. Playing in all 82 games last season for the first time in three years, McDavid led the league in both scoring (138 points) and assists (90), while his 48 goals were third-most in the circuit. His 54 power-play points were 11 more than anyone else. McDavid finished second in voting for the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP, barely getting edged out by Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov. The generational talent has racked up 100-plus points in six straight seasons, adding a whopping 281 points with the man advantage during that stretch. The 29-year-old is the safest option in the league from a fantasy standpoint. McDavid and Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon, in an interchangeable order, should be the first two picks in all formats for the upcoming campaign.
